Region: North EDUCATION:
• Diploma or Engineering degree.
• PDIS/ADIS in government affiliated collage/ university. Preferred Safety certification
• NEBOSH IGC
• OHSAS 30 Hrs
• IOSH Managing safely.
EXPERIENCE: 15+ years’ experience in managing an EHS on site.
Role & responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Identify potential workplace hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and safety assessments.
• Oversee the implementation of corrective actions for safety violations.
• Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and report findings to senior management.
• Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees and management.
• Organize toolbox talks, emergency drills, and first aid training and other site-specific safety training at site.
• Promote a culture of proactive safety practices across the organization.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure the availability and maintenance of emergency safety equipment.
• Train employees on emergency response and crisis management.
• Reporting and Escalating EHS matters to top management if site related EHS concerns are not as per approved EHS plan.
• Generate of NCN and Penalty for the major safety violation/long pending safety noncompliance.
• Conduct of weekly HSE walk round, weekly, and monthly HSE Meeting with all stockholders.
•
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: fluent English, Hindi, and Bengali language.
