Job Description
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety programs for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards in an ICI GC environment.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on HSE protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into construction plans.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to health, safety, and compliance standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related matters on construction sites.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:
- Proven experience in HSE management within the construction industry, specifically in an ICI GC environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices applicable in Toronto and across Ontario municipalities.
- Excellent communication and training skills to effectively engage with teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Relevant certifications in health and safety management or equivalent qualifications.
