The Fleet & Safety Manager oversees workplace safety programs and manages the organizations vehicle fleet to ensure compliance. This role supports daily operations by maintaining safety standards, coordinating training, completing site inspections, monitoring fleet performance, communicating with appropriate team members and vendors and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. Work with departments to implement industry best practices while maintaining compliance with all federal, state and industry regulations.

They mentor employees and supervisors, enabling them to achieve a high level of proficiency and independence within the safety program.

Rate: Based on experience.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 pm - 4:00 pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Safety Management

Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across facilities and job sites.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, document violations and implement corrective actions, including inspection on-the-spot safety training as needed.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
