As a member of our growing Environment & Safety Division, you will be the trusted expert that clients rely on for clear and actionable DSEAR guidance. You’ll conduct professional assessments across a diverse range of sites, advising on corrective actions to support organizations in meeting their obligations under the DSEAR Regulations 2002 and ACOP L138.

We are looking for a proactive, dependable, and flexible advisor who can work independently as well as collaboratively on various projects. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Conducting expert DSEAR assessments and advising clients on corrective actions to ensure compliance with DSEAR Regulations 2002 and ACOP L138.
Providing comprehensive DSEAR consultancy, from hazardous area classification and equipment selection (ATEX) to creating practical engineering solutions.
Preparing prioritized action plans, hazardous area classification (HAC) schedules, and zone drawings to ensure safe design and operation.
Ensuring all work aligns with SOCOTEC standards, policies, and client requirements.
Continuously enhancing your professional skills and supporting business growth by identifying new opportunities.

To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate

Experience working in alignment with DSEAR regulations.
Expertise in preparing HAC schedules and drawing mark-ups indicating the extent of hazardous zones.
Knowledge advising on the selection of equipment within ATEX zones and understanding ignition risks from mechanical sources.
A strong commitment to customer service and timely delivery.
