Important Construction company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Manager to lead our organization’s safety initiatives and foster a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety programs that ensure compliance with industry standards and legal regulations. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across manufacturing facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations by performing root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs focused on OSHA compliance, first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), workers’ compensation law, and occupational health best practices.
- Maintain accurate safety records, prepare detailed report writing, and ensure documentation complies with legal requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workers’ compensation law inquiries and manage claims processes efficiently.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) practices through training & development initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure readiness for various scenarios.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in construction environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health principles.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, OSHA safety training, and workers’ compensation law are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and report writing effectively.
- Knowledge of EHS management systems and experience leading safety training & development programs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence safety culture at all organizational levels.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
