About The Role
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring fire safety and compliance within our organisation. Your key responsibilities will include producing and developing specifications and schedules of work based on actions identified in the fire risk assessment programme, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices. You will ensure these actions are completed, quality assured, and audited in line with both regulatory standards and Council policy. Conducting compartmentation inspections as identified by the fire risk assessment programme, you will guarantee compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, the Fire Safety Act, and Health and Safety requirements. Additionally, you will assist the Fire Safety team in developing efficient processes for managing, delivering, and completing the findings from the fire risk assessment process, ensuring all activities meet the highest regulatory standards. This role is ideal for someone with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance.

About You
The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Fire Certificate and a degree in Building Surveying or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in the principles of fire and building safety. They will demonstrate impeccable written and verbal communication skills, consistently upholding a standard of professionalism in all interactions. Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, will be essential in efficiently managing tasks and facilitating seamless communication within the team.
