We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Officerto join our growing team. This is a critical role responsible for leveraging our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to drive efficiency, ensure data integrity, and provide actionable insights across the organization. You'll be the bridge between our HR processes and technology, ensuring our systems support our 3,400+ employees and reflect our values of care, respect, and trust. Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents and health problems.
- Partner with all departments to foster a safety culture.
- Create and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Conducts employee training on applicable safety standards.
- Drafts and implements internal safety standards and policies.
- Review of accidents and incidents reported by employees.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.
- Stay updated about emerging safety trends, regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to design and implement data analytics and KPI dashboards.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with HRIS configuration, reporting tools, data extraction, and maintenance.
- Familiar with OSHA Safety Standards
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must have valid drivers license and car insurance
