The Role
We are seeking a skilled Building Safety Manager to support our Fire & Building Safety Department with expert technical guidance, Building Safety Case work, and compliance assurance.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, helping to deliver high-quality safety outcomes across a diverse portfolio of sites. You will play a key role in shaping safer buildings, contributing to technical excellence, and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
This is a hybrid role combining field-based site visits across the UK with remote working
Key responsibilities include
- Delivering Building Safety Case Reports and Gap Analysis Reports
- Providing clear, competent technical guidance to clients and colleagues
- Supporting the development of internal policies, procedures, and training
- Maintaining CPD and staying up to date with legislation and best practice
- Escalating risks appropriately and communicating effectively across teams
- Travelling to client sites as required

Skills
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to interpret and apply technical guidance and legislation
- Collaborative approach with internal and external teams
Knowledge
- Level 5 Building Safety qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of building construction, external walls, and compartmentation
- Working knowledge of current legislation, guidance, and compliance frameworks
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a building compliance or safety discipline
- Proven experience producing technical reports (e.g., Safety Case or Gap Analysis)
- Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven environments
