Manager (Safety)

Responsibilities

• Developing and Implementing Policies: Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with environmental regulations at site.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards related to the works and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
• Training and Communication: Conduct training sessions for employees/workers on safety practices and environmental protection and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Compliance Management: Ensure the project adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various potential incidents.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate workplace incidents or accidents and report findings to appropriate parties.
• Environmental Management: Implement strategies for waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update EHS policies and procedures to improve safety standards

Qualifications

• BE/B Tech in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical on regular basis and Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• Exp.: 12+ yrs of experience in Industrial plant safety.
