Safety Manager
Bluewater, Inc
As the Safety Manager, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company-wide safety policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The position conducts regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions, while also organizing and leading comprehensive safety training for both new and existing employees. This role investigates accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepares detailed reports, and drives process improvements to prevent recurrence. Additionally, the Safety Manager maintains all required safety records, serves as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters, and works closely with management, staff, and external agencies to promote a strong culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
· Verify all employees have Safeland, ISN task completed, Veriforce task completed.
· Remove nonemployees from Samsara, ISN, Verifiorce.
· Verify that all drivers are carrying driver tokens in vehicle while driving.
· Visit ISN and Veriforce weekly to check document compliance.
· Respond and complete all TPS alerts.
· Dropbox – Update and monitor all drivers license and medical cards.
· Hold driver’s meetings in all three yards monthly. Follow up with drivers that did not attend. File meeting topics and signature page.
· Create new policies and procedures as needed.
· Enforce all Bluewater policies and procedures.
· Implement a positive safety culture with drivers and shop personnel.
· Perform safety audits weekly.
· Communicate with customer HSE managers.
· Injury/accident investigation and reporting.
· Update and revise Bluewater Safety Manual. Every two years or as needed.
· Track and update OSHA 300 logs.
· Investigate accident/incidents.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
