Regional Safety Leader

To lead and support occupational safety, health, and OSHA compliance efforts for the East Region by providing expert guidance, training, and technical support. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards, conducting safety assessments and observations, developing and delivering safety training programs, and analyzing incident trends to drive continuous improvement. The role serves as a key resource for field personnel, promotes a proactive safety culture, and contributes to the overall success of company safety initiatives through independent judgment, leadership, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support occupational safety, health, and OSHA compliance efforts.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards.
- Conduct safety assessments and observations.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Analyze incident trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key resource for field personnel.
- Promote a proactive safety culture.
- Contribute to the overall success of company safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent leadership and people skills.
- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills.
- Proactive attitude and approach to safety.
- Ability to self-direct and motivate.
- Proven track record of managing safety programs.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Nice-to-haves
- Industrial Hygiene experience.
- GSP, ASP, or CSP Certification.
- Natural gas pipeline operational experience.
