QA & Food Safety Manager

An outstanding, full-time position has become available in the Newark, CA area for an individual with 4+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Safety Manager with a background in the Food Manufacturing Industry. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, Life insurance, a 401K w/ matching, PTO and other outstanding perks.

Required work experience includes

• 4+ years of experience in QA/QC role with a background in the Food Manufacturing Industry is a MUST
• Experience with Food Safety Certifications (e., organic, Kosher, gluten free, non-GMO, and AIB etc.) is a MUST
• Knowledge of facility safety Programs (e., Environmental Monitoring, Sanitation Program, Shipping and Receiving, Allergen, Raw Material Hold & Release, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs), Food Defense, Supplier Verification Program, Raw Material Sampling, and Pre-ship Sampling) is a MUST
• Strong ERP (NetSuite) and MS Office (Excel) skills is a MUST
• CPIM and SQF Certified is a MUST
• Strong knowledge of GFSI is a MUST
• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Discipline or related field is a big PLUS
