- Lead with Purpose: Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Safety professionals. Inspire your team to think creatively and explore new approaches to safety and risk management.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a forward-thinking safety strategy aligned with long-term business objectives. Use technology and data to anticipate risks and drive continuous improvement.

- Collaborate & Influence: Build strong relationships with operational leaders, business partners, and external stakeholders. Provide expert advice and thought leadership on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Drive Results: Analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead projects that elevate safety standards across all sectors. Ensure compliance with OH&S and Food Safety regulations while pursuing excellence in everything you do.

- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in Occupational Health & Safety and/or Food Safety, including at least 2 years in a management role within a complex or unionized environment.
- A strategic mindset with a passion for long-term vision and inspiring leadership.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, or a related field.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Certifications: CRSP/CHSC, CPH, or continuous food safety education (HACCP, GFSI, etc.) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to inspire, support, and develop others.
- Primarily office-based with periodic field visits.
- Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
- Some travel required within Ontario.
