Bilingual Safety Specialist (OSHA Certified)

HotFoot Recruiters is seeking a Bilingual Safety Specialist fluent in Mandarin and English to support a high-profile semiconductor construction project. This individual will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance across the site, conducting training, and bridging communication between Mandarin-speaking field teams and U.S.-based safety leadership.

Location: North Phoenix, AZ (TSMC Site – 85085)

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Salary: $50/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Enforce and monitor job site compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety programs.
• Lead safety walkthroughs, toolbox talks, and daily safety briefings in both English and Mandarin.
• Support incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain accurate safety logs, audits, and documentation.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Act as a liaison between Taiwanese and U.S. teams to clarify safety protocols and expectations.
• Monitor contractor behavior and enforce appropriate PPE and hazard mitigation practices.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English (required).
• OSHA 30 certification (required).
• OSHA 510 or 511 certification (required).
• 3–5 years of construction safety experience, preferably in semiconductor or cleanroom projects.
• Familiarity with U.S. safety laws and semiconductor safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work on active construction sites, including long hours or weekend shifts during peak project phases.
• U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship offered).
