Fire and Life Safety Director in NYC (F-89, T-89 or Z-89 Certificate Active) (3)

Duties

Conduct fire drills, evacuations and related activities such as organizing, training and supervising a fire brigade.

Implement the building’s Fire Safety Plan in the event of an emergency.

Acting as a liaison between building personnel and the FDNY in the event of an emergency.

Directing the evacuation of occupants as provided for in the fire safety EAP plan.

Assisting all emergency service personnel entering the building on official business and reporting details to the Property Manager, Account Manager, and Kent Office ASAP.

Supervising and training the Fire Brigade, FS/EAP Wardens, Deputy FS/EAP Wardens and Building Evacuation Supervisors.

Maintaining records and logs as required by the New York City Fire Code.

Conducting, supervising, and evaluating fire and emergency drills.

Demonstrate the ability to make clear and audible public address announcements.

Requirements

• A NYS security license active.
• F-89 or Z-89 Certificates.
