Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma
  • 18 years of age or older

Licensure

  • Valid State driver's license
  • Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)

Certification/Registration

  • Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)- Federal, State, and Municipal licensure allowable timeframes will have precedence over internally established timeframes for IAHSS certification.Other Skills and Knowledge:
  • Ability to read and write the English language

Licensure

Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.

Experience

Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
