Health and Safety Manager (contract - 52 weeks)

Job summary

The Health & Safety Manager role is to provide on-site support to the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer by delivering the daily tasks required to comply with CDM 2015.

These works are associated with the construction of a new high bay freezer with an automated storage and retrieval system on the site of a live food manufacturing facility.

The candidate should be a self-starter, able to communicate effectively, influence all levels across stakeholder groups, and be appropriately qualified and experienced.

Qualifications and skills

• NEBOSH qualified;
• First Aid trained - or the ability to get trained prior to the assignmnmet start;
• A full understanding of health and safety management and HSE legislation;
• A comprehensive understanding of the CDM 2015 regulations;
• Experience collaborating with international contractors is desired;
• Experience in both manufacturing and construction operations.

• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written;
• Confident to communicate and collaborate - including leading meetings, delivering inductions etc;
• Flexible regarding work arrangements.

Pay: £250.00-£350.00 per day
