On Site Safety Manager

Job located in NJ- TRAVEL REQUIRED WILL BE INSPECTING MULTIPLE SITES (Elmwood Park & Secaucus). Hours: 7am-3:30pm M-Friday, with possible overtime opportunities, weekend and night.

REQUIRMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an on-site safety coordinator/representative
• Hold a valid OSHA 510
• Experience with Heavy Highway & Bridge work is a plus!
• Comfortable standing/walking for more than 5 hours per day
• Experience with reviewing/approving JHAs & HASPs
• Experience with completing/reviewing/approving permits
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office
• Handle conflicts with a positive, team attitude
• Comfortable driving to multiple sites over NJ

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Education

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

• Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• OSHA: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification

• OSHA 30 (Required)
