Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Design and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of employees. Perform regular EHS audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement. Manage EHS data, reporting, and record-keeping for regulatory and internal requirements. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related scientific field; professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) highly preferred. 7+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 5 years directly within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO Demonstrated ability to lead EHS initiatives, conduct training, and influence a strong safety culture across all levels of an organization.

Bonus Qualifications

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation. Experience applying Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies to EHS initiatives. ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification or implementation experience. Proficiency with EHS management software and data analytics for trend identification and predictive safety.
