Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to EHS standards. Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors. Oversee the development, implementation, and testing of emergency response plans. Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and communicate results to management and relevant stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS performance and foster a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Recommended Qualifications

7+ years of progressive EHS experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific/technical field. Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager). In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state-specific EHS regulations and compliance requirements. Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a track record of fostering a proactive safety culture.

Bonus Qualifications

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Demonstrated experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting. Expertise in process safety management (PSM) or advanced machinery guarding.
