Aviation Safety Manager

Our client, a major airline operations provider, is looking for an experienced Aviation Safety Manager to oversee safety initiatives at their hub in **Boston, Massachusetts, US**. This on-site position requires a proactive leader dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of aviation safety and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's Safety Management System (SMS). Key duties include conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents and accidents, developing corrective action plans, and delivering safety training to personnel. You will liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., FAA) and ensure adherence to all relevant aviation safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aviation safety principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across the organization. A Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or a related field is required. Previous experience in aviation safety management, audit, or operations is mandatory. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP) are a plus.
