Aviation Safety and Compliance Manager
ABMABM is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Safety & Compliance Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of ABM's safety, security, and compliance programs at the designated locations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all operations meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Compensation: $65,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
401(k) - You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Education
- High School Diploma with a College Degree desirable
Overall
- Must have a Valid State issued Driver's License
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal, including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history
- Managers Environmental, Safety and Health, Workers' Compensation, and General Liability programs at the station level.
- Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in Environment, Safety and Health, Workers' Compensation, General Liability, client relationships, and customer service.
- Serve as the primary station contact for: EHS, Workers' Compensation, General Liability, airport safety organizations, and client air carrier's management/safety personnel.
- Train employees in Environmental, Safety and Health, Workers' Compensation. and General Liability programs in all Lines of Service.
- Administer Environmental, Safety and Health, Workers' Compensations, and General Liability program and policies and procedures.
- Conduct Hazard Assessments of station.
- Update, and maintain Station Environmental, Safety and Health Compliance Plans
- Responsible for all activities involving Environmental, Safety and Health, Workers' Compensation, and General Liability programs compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts observations, inspections, audits, and investigations, reviews/analyzes data and documentation, plans correction actions and enforces correction actions including but not limited to:
- Proficient in vehicle telematics and camera capabilities
- Ensure compliance in the areas of substance testing and motor vehicle record checks for all drivers.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, CFR, FAA, TSA regulations and standards.
- Ensure employees follow established policies, procedures, and generate finished work product under time, budgetary constraints, and product meets or exceeds the expected outcome and training requirements.
- Monitors and assures compliance with all regulatory (OSHA/EPA/DOT/TSA), company and client procedures, policies, and requirements.
- Oversee employee Environmental, Safety and Health, Workers' Compensation, and General Liability program briefings, attend meetings, conference calls, crew briefings etc.
- Maintain all records related to EHS, DOT, Workers' Compensation and other programs as required including but not limited to; Accident/Incident Reports, Environmental Spills/Releases, Observations, Inspections, Audits, etc.
- Review station operations to determine if processes need;

- Immediately investigating all claims, injuries and accidents and coordinate station accident review board.
- Help instill a culture of safety, security, and training and deliver measurable results.
- Oversees compliance with instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job to assure operation performance to accomplish goals.
- Ensure that each employee receives proper safety training commensurate with the job responsibilities assigned and that all training is properly documented and maintained in safety training files.
- Communicate effectively with management, employees, and clients to ensure fulfillment of safety performance requirements. Leads employee safety, security, attend meetings, conference calls, crew briefings etc.
- Oversight for Employee and Station EHS Meetings.
- Analyzing agency regulations and directives, EHS data and material, and the operational environment to make appropriate recommendations to corporate management on safety matters.
- Conducting and reviewing safety surveys, monitoring hazard reports, malfunction/defect reports, and other available safety data applicable to the station, and ensure appropriate response actions are taken.
- Coordinating with the operations, training, human resources, and other departments to ensure EHS initiatives are incorporated into all aspects of the station.
- Responsible for the development, implementation and the maintenance of the Emergency Evacuation and Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
- Serving as the EHS resource for individual line of service.
- Ensure protocol for passenger handling to include slip and fall incidents.
