About the Role
The Global HSE Contract Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing CBRE’s compliance programs for third-party systems in alignment with client-specific requirements. By working collaboratively with internal subject matter experts, this position aims to develop structured programs that focus on safety, assurance, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and integrity in key performance indicators as part of a global safety management system.
This role, reporting to the Global Governance and Assurance Senior Manager, involves cross-regional collaboration to streamline processes while adhering to regulatory compliance. You will be tasked with reviewing data, generating insights, and managing both routine and complex tasks effectively. A significant focus will be on implementing a risk-based framework to understand and mitigate risks, guided by benchmarked best practices.
What You’ll Do
- Create an annual compliance plan for all client pre-qualification platforms, addressing non-compliance proactively.
- Act as a subject-matter expert in contractor pre-qualification processes and related audits.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistency in insurance and data requests.
- Develop global standards and account-level programs that comply with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Plan and manage compliance and assurance activities globally with senior leadership across various functions.
- Review injury and illness case classifications to ensure alignment with CBRE’s Recordkeeping requirements.
- Utilize project management skills to influence and foster a strong HSE culture across the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in occupational safety, public health, or related fields; relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5-7 years of progressive global management experience in HSE or related areas.
- Hands-on experience with systems implementation, data management, and compliance protocols.
- A proven record of using both qualitative and quantitative research to drive program improvements.
- Experience in large organizations undergoing process improvements and cultural shifts.
- Strong understanding of the full spectrum of assurance requirements and HSE Management Systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality documentation.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement.

Disclaimer
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. The minimum salary for this position is $85,000 annually and may go up to $100,000 depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Successful candidates will also have the chance to receive discretionary bonuses and benefits including health, dental, life, and vision insurance.
