As a Safety Coordinator at CR Meyer, you will contribute to the overall success of the company and its heavy industrial customers by supporting construction project management teams in risk management, health, and safety programs.
- You will administer the CR Meyer Risk Management program for specific construction projects and job sites, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
- Act as a resource for all CR Meyer staff in interpretation, administration, and compliance with the Risk Management program.
- Participate in routine meetings, including pre-task planning, daily huddles, and Risk Management team meetings.
Develop an understanding of customer site-specific safety requirements and ensure CR Meyer meets or exceeds those expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits, making recommendations and ensuring correction of unsafe conditions.
- Assist in organizing and providing relevant safety training for CR Meyer staff.
- Lead by example, advocating for the CR Meyer Mission-Vision-Values and Code of Conduct.
Maintain accurate safety training records and prepare accident documentation, including reports and notifications.
Represent the CR Meyer brand positively and professionally at all times.
