- *Job Summary:**
- Accountable for supporting the organization in developing, implementing and monitoring the company's Employee Wellness, Safety and Environmental management strategies, systems and standards.
- *Key Responsibilities:
- Review and provide input regarding proposed healthcare legislation/regulations
- Communicate any relevant regulatory changes to affected internal business units
- Develop and implement all safety-related policies, systems and procedures
- Maintain all safety-related documentation
- Provide assistance and counseling to employees and management
- Address employee concerns and inquiries
- Consult with internal stakeholders regarding potential enhancements/improvements to the company's Employee Wellness, Safety and Environmental policies, programs, processes and standards
- Analyze Dynacare's incident and accident data and claims management programs and processes enterprise-wide
- Consolidate and report enterprise-wide wellness, safety and environmental performance metrics
- Research safety and environmental specifications in relation to any hazard controls, equipment including personal protective equipment
- Develop and monitor all Dynacare safety and environmental training material
- Act in an advisory capacity on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
- Certify health and safety trainers and deliver training programs
- Conduct all internal safety and environmental audits
- Provide managerial leadership in relation to all safety and environmental inspections and accreditations
- Ensure ongoing effective positioning and integration of corporate wellness, safety and environmental programs and services
