  • *Job Summary:**
  • Accountable for supporting the organization in developing, implementing and monitoring the company's Employee Wellness, Safety and Environmental management strategies, systems and standards.
  • *Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and provide input regarding proposed healthcare legislation/regulations
  • Communicate any relevant regulatory changes to affected internal business units
  • Develop and implement all safety-related policies, systems and procedures
  • Maintain all safety-related documentation
  • Provide assistance and counseling to employees and management
  • Address employee concerns and inquiries
  • Consult with internal stakeholders regarding potential enhancements/improvements to the company's Employee Wellness, Safety and Environmental policies, programs, processes and standards
  • Analyze Dynacare's incident and accident data and claims management programs and processes enterprise-wide
  • Consolidate and report enterprise-wide wellness, safety and environmental performance metrics
  • Research safety and environmental specifications in relation to any hazard controls, equipment including personal protective equipment
  • Develop and monitor all Dynacare safety and environmental training material
  • Act in an advisory capacity on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
  • Certify health and safety trainers and deliver training programs
  • Conduct all internal safety and environmental audits
  • Provide managerial leadership in relation to all safety and environmental inspections and accreditations
  • Ensure ongoing effective positioning and integration of corporate wellness, safety and environmental programs and services
