The Safety Coordinator - 2nd Shift (3PM - 12AM) will work closely with plant leadership to foster a proactive safety culture by identifying and mitigating hazards before incidents occur. This role is pivotal in assisting the Safety Manager with policy implementation and adherence to local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced facility
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
- Strong communication and training abilities
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Manager in reviewing and revising existing safety programs
- Partner with operations to enhance current work practices and mitigate risks
- Guide incident reporting and investigation processes, determining root causes and corrective actions
- Develop and deliver monthly safety training to all associates
- Conduct routine audits and inspections on compliance with safety standards
- Evaluate and improve training effectiveness through feedback and assessments
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards

- Previous experience in safety and compliance is a plus
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Relevant safety certifications (OSHA 10⁄30, CPE, CSP, CIH) are advantageous
