**Overview**

  • *Duties**
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Facilitate training development initiatives by collaborating with department heads to identify training needs and create relevant programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR projects and programs aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Filling out WSIB Form 7's
  • Environmental support management

  • *Skills**
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to fabricate innovative solutions to enhance HR processes.
  • Experience in training development is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to employee growth and development.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

  • *Job Type**: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
