  • *HSE & HR Coordinator**

As our HSE & HR Coordinator, you provide critical support services to our staff and stakeholders.

Working closely with the Vice President of Administration, this is a diverse role that sees you functioning as a consultant, supporter, implementer, organizer, and ambassador for all the standards in both our Health, Safety & Environment, and Human Resources Management Systems.

  • *The Details**

This is a full-time, permanent position. Starting salary is between $55,000 and $70,000, based on ability, education, and experience. You will receive complete and flexible benefits, 3 weeks of vacation, 5 days of paid emergency leave, 1 personal day, an annual fitness credit, and a hybrid work schedule that allows you to work from home 2 days per week.

  • *Qualifications**

These are the preferred experiences that qualify you for the role:

  • Experience supporting health, safety, environment, and human resources (HSE & HR) corporate functions. Ideally, in the construction sector, with an understanding of civil and landscape construction being a big asset.
  • Post secondary education in health, safety, hygiene and/or human resources.
  • Understanding of HSE & HR legislations with a proficiency in researching these works.
  • Experience drafting and/or editing HSE & HR policies, procedures, practices, and templates.
  • Experience mining, analyzing, organizing, and presenting data.
  • Experience with tasks related to inspections, investigations, and auditing.
  • Experience coordinating, administering, and tracking training.
  • Experience coordinating and administering employee recruitment, induction, and discharge.
  • Accomplished user of MS office suite. Experience with MS Forms, OneDrive, and SharePoint an asset.
  • Experience maintaining social media accounts and websites is an asset.
  • Excellent record keeping and inventory management skills.
