EHS Specialist 3

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and responsible Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team.

The EHS Specialist will work closely with the local process owners and business partners to ensure requirements are duly met by the site and, additionally, assessing, documenting, and addressing all relevant changes with impact to environment and safety for our employees and overall operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Ensuring adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations
• Educating and overseeing employees on health and safety procedures and regulations
• Conducting ergonomic evaluations and job hazard assessments to identify risk
• Partnering with stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Engineering, and R&D to mitigate risk
• Conducting employee safety trainings
• Encouraging and promoting the use of safer work equipment, materials and supplies
• Tracking the number of incidents and producing reports
• Conducting root causes analyses and sharing lessons learned across business units
• Monitoring exposure to certain hazardous chemicals
• Staying up-to-date with industry and market trends and best practices
