Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we specialize in providing comprehensive solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation.

What will you be doing

We are looking for a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Advisor to contribute to our Agility Eco projects across the UK. This role will require travel to various sites, with our current projects located between London and Cambridge. You will provide health, safety, and environmental support to our operational teams, either on a single large-scale project or multiple smaller projects.

  • Conduct site inspections and management audits of direct employees and sub-contractors
  • Offer advice on risk assessments, construction risk management, fire safety, CDM regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and machinery
  • Assist operational and management teams in enhancing our management systems and operational practices
  • Liaise with external bodies, including the Health and Safety Executive, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Support incident management and investigation processes
  • Conduct toolbox talks, team talks, and provide SHE training about health, safety, and environmental issues
  • Deliver induction training for operatives and new starters
  • Act as a role model, embodying M Group's visions, priorities, and values

What you'll bring

  • NEBOSH General or Construction certificate
  • Experience as a Safety Advisor in the construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel
  • Environmental qualifications (desirable)
  • High standards of safety behaviour and a commitment to promoting a positive safety culture
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicts during site inspections
  • Strong presentation skills
