Diversified Personnel Services is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator / Safety Coordinator to support environmental, health, and safety programs for our internal operations and client workforce. This role will help ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across diverse work environments. Pay $60,000 - $62,000

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

  • Implement and support EHS policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations
  • Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and job site evaluations
  • Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and track resolution

Training & Education

  • Coordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation, OSHA topics, and job-specific safety requirements
  • Develop and update safety materials, SOPs, and training documentation
  • Promote safety awareness and best practices among employees and client partners

Incident Management

  • Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries
  • Complete incident reports, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
  • Assist with workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and injury trend analysis

Client & Employee Support

  • Serve as a safety resource for internal teams, employees, and other plant locations
  • Partner with clients to align safety expectations and ensure compliance
  • Conduct plant visits and participate in safety meetings as needed

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
  • Track safety metrics and prepare reports for management and clients
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve workplace safety

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of safety, EHS, or related experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to plant sites

Preferred

  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or construction environments
  • CPR/First Aid certification

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
