Field Safety Coordinator

The Field Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining Health & Safety training material, conducting regular work site inspections, investigating incidents/accidents, and participating in Joint Health & Safety meetings.

  • Maintain regularly scheduled work site inspections to identify unsafe actions and conditions
  • Investigate and provide timely reports of all incidents/accidents, determine immediate and root causes, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Participate in and support monthly Joint Health & Safety meetings and communicate safety information effectively to management

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of relevant safety experience, a strong understanding of applicable legislation and regulations, and a professional Safety designation (CSS, CSO, NHSA, NCSO, CRST, CRSP). Additional duties may include managing employee records, assisting with investigation testing measures, and traveling within Ontario.
