  • *Your day-to-day activities will include**:
  • Provide administrative support to the local management team and employees;
  • Provide leadership and compliance in site safety processes and objectives;
  • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting;
  • Ensure accurate, timely and secure documentation and filing per auditing standards;
  • Assist with Human Resource administration;
  • Administer and maintain user and security access;
  • Coordinate staff recognition programs, communications, events, and supplies;
  • Procurement and management of office and facilities supplies.
  • Post secondary education in administration and/or Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant administrative experience supporting health & safety activities, and/or general office administration, or human resources environment;
  • Must have organizational, multi tasking, and time management skills;
  • Must be visible on an industrial setting, able to conduct Mill audits and daily communication with front line employees;
  • Ability to lead and positively influence peers;
  • Working knowledge of Federal H&S Legislation - CLC II and COHSR;
  • Proficient computer and systems skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience working with a unionized work environment is considered an asset.
