One of the North America's largest aggregates, cement and construction materials company is looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator, to join their team in Vancouver, WA. The incumbent will be overseeing all operations in the Pacific Northwest region for the organization, responsible for engaging the workforce and ensuring safety over 7 sites.

Company vehicle along with other bonus and benefits will be provided for the selected candidate.

The Role

Implement and support all safety & health programs including all regulatory compliance programs and the company’s Safety/Health Management System.

Provide on-going safety & health support and guidance appropriate management and employees.

Proactively monitor and report facility safety & health performance.

Work to ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including completion of required training, and monitoring compliance.

The Candidate

5+ years of relevant safety experience or equivalent combination.

Experience managing OSHA regulated facilities and return-to-work programs.

Experience managing workers’ compensation (L&I), automotive and general liability claims.

Strong communication skills.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
