Job Description

A leading organization in the environmental services sector seeks an experienced Director of Health and Safety to drive meaningful change, foster a culture of prevention, and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance safety performance and mitigate risks
• Partner with executive leadership to set health, safety, and risk goals
• Oversee the creation and implementation of safety policies and compliance programs
• Lead investigations, emergency preparedness, and training initiatives

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in occupational health, safety, risk management, or a related field
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership in health, safety, and risk management
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian federal/provincial safety legislation
