Entry to Mid-Level Safety Coordinator

Our Heath, Safety, and Environmental team is seeking a dedicated entry to mid-level Safety Coordinator who can help us provide safety solutions to our clients. You will implement, evaluate, and sustain HSE improvement programs aimed at preventing occupational injuries and illnesses, minimizing environmental impacts, and mitigating operational hazards and risks across our locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Safety Inspections: Perform regular site safety inspections and prepare comprehensive reports conveying findings and providing sound guidance to resolve or mitigate encountered SH&E issues.
• Field Personnel Engagement: Build trust and respect with field personnel to promote open communication and influence the adoption of new safety practices.
• Employee Coaching: Coach employees on the use of safe work practices in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company programs.
• Training and Meetings: Assist in the development and delivery of training presentations and facilitate meeting discussions on pertinent safety topics.
• Incident Investigations: Facilitate incident and injury/illness investigations and write detailed findings reports.

To be a successful Safety Coordinator, you should have at least a year of hands-on experience in construction and environmental site safety, a working knowledge of OSHA and EPA with an emphasis in Construction or Environmental Remediation, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
