Site EHS Coordinator Job Description

This role will conduct daily site safety inspections/audits, document findings, implement corrective actions, and conduct training as needed. It will also lead and/or assist accident investigations, near-misses, and property damage incidents to identify root causes and develop effective corrective actions.

  • Implement and monitor site safety programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Deliver EHS training programs for employees.
  • Promote safety awareness and a culture of safety.
  • Maintain records of training sessions and participant attendance.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
  • Coordinate emergency response teams and resources.
  • Ensure all staff are familiar with emergency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety data, training, and incidents.
  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  • Update and manage EHS documentation, including policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for site management and employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote integrated safety practices.
