**Overview**
- *Duties**
- Develop and implement CORE safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to create and maintain safety policies and procedures.
- Fabricate safety equipment or tools as necessary to enhance workplace safety.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries within the organization.
- Promote a culture of safety through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- *Experience**
- Proven experience in a safety officer or similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Experience in developing training materials and conducting training sessions effectively.
- Certified in Core
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Certification in occupational health and safety or related field is a plus.
- *Education**
- Post secondary diploma in related field
- Core certification
- MS Office, Buildops, procore knowledge
- All relevant safety cedrtifications
