Director of Safety and Security

A company is looking for a Director of Safety and Security to lead and enhance organizational safety and defense during a critical period for their movement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of security protocols and conduct risk assessments

Facilitate the Security Working Group and manage organization-wide security practices

Ensure robust security measures for staff and events, including digital security protocols

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in organizational operations, security, or community safety

Minimum 3 years of experience in partnerships or coalitions within progressive movements

Experience in delivering effective trainings for diverse learners

Strong background in digital security and remote workplace technology

Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to racial justice and gender justice
