Fire Life Safety Director
Allied UniversalThe primary mission of the Fire Life Safety Director is to protect life and property through the implementation of the building's fire safety plan including the management of the Fire Command Station and the supervision of the fire brigade floor wardens deputy floor wardens and building evacuation supervisors.
The successful candidate must act as a liaison to the NYC Fire Department during emergencies ensuring all life safety systems related equipment are fully functional conduct fire alarm drills maintain written logs critique response times or weaknesses identify potential actual systems performing routine duties assisting client visitors vendors employees remaining professional courteous calm emergency situations visiting surveillance reporting suspicious persons packages maintaining CPR first aid knowledge communicating effectively with public coworkers responding crisis situations quality customer service English fluency pressure high volume public attention detail required setting priorities following assignments stand walk various surfaces climb stairs occasionally bend/twist lift carry occasional run use hands arms reaching/handling/grasping/fingering tasks observe read interact security monitors mental alertness required while working different environments extreme conditions
