Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Sr EHS Manager to lead and enhance our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives in our construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting best practices in safety, and fostering a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures tailored to construction projects.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
• Provide training and support to staff on EHS practices and procedures.
• Lead incident investigation and reporting processes to identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to integrate EHS considerations in project planning and execution.
• Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics and report findings to management.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards related to EHS in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the highway construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices, particularly in TDOT, DOT, and highway infrastructure.
• Certifications are a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster a safety culture.
• Proficient in safety management software and reporting tools.
