Job Description

You will support the HSE team in various areas including:

  • Collaborating with the HSE team to analyze, monitor, follow-up and support the implementation of HSE programs and initiatives.
  • Managing subcontractor HSE prequalification process, liaising with project teams and subcontractors to resolve documentation gaps.
  • Maintaining 3rd party HSE monitoring sites and completing client HSE prequalification requests.
  • Assisting in the development, review, and updating of the corporate Health & Safety program.
  • Maintaining and managing HSE tools, documents, and data.
  • Maintaining the corporate HSE legal registry.
  • Preparing and distributing hazard alerts, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, and other communication material.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma/certificate in Health & Safety or related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in health & safety.
  • Experience with HSE prequalification and 3rd party monitoring systems is an asset.
  • Understanding of HSE management systems and legislation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technical aptitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on organization and attention to detail to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
