Job Description
You will support the HSE team in various areas including:
- Collaborating with the HSE team to analyze, monitor, follow-up and support the implementation of HSE programs and initiatives.
- Managing subcontractor HSE prequalification process, liaising with project teams and subcontractors to resolve documentation gaps.
- Maintaining 3rd party HSE monitoring sites and completing client HSE prequalification requests.
- Assisting in the development, review, and updating of the corporate Health & Safety program.
- Maintaining and managing HSE tools, documents, and data.
- Maintaining the corporate HSE legal registry.
- Preparing and distributing hazard alerts, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, and other communication material.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma/certificate in Health & Safety or related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience in health & safety.
- Experience with HSE prequalification and 3rd party monitoring systems is an asset.
- Understanding of HSE management systems and legislation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technical aptitude.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with emphasis on organization and attention to detail to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
