We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to champion workplace safety initiatives across our manufacturing facilities. Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of manufacturing areas to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, and OSHA compliance to ensure all employees are prepared for emergencies.
- Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly through root cause analysis to prevent recurrence; prepare detailed report writing for management review.
- Monitor occupational health conditions, ensuring proper ergonomic practices and environmental protection measures in line with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines.
- Coordinate workers' compensation law compliance processes and facilitate timely reporting of injuries or illnesses.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing safety data, tracking trends, and recommending proactive measures for risk reduction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and occupational health standards.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and OSHA safety training is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of EPA regulations related to environmental safety practices within industrial settings.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law procedures and reporting requirements.
- Strong report writing skills combined with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver engaging training sessions and foster collaboration across teams.
