Airfield Safety Officer

Job Description

The Airfield Safety Officer performs patrol and inspection duties of airfield and other facilities under general supervision.

• Inspecting airfield facilities including runways taxiways safety areas paved & non-paved surfaces lighting signage markings security related assets i.e., fences/gates navigational aids.
• Closing and reopening airfield facilities such as runways taxiways ramps aircraft gate positions security related assets depending on safe secure conditions.
• Monitoring directing movement of vehicles persons equipment on airfield providing escort safetysupport ensuring efficient operations.
