Safety Technician

THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION WITH APPROXIMATE WORK HOURS OF 8:30PM TO 5:30AM.

• Responsible for daily tasks associated with the safety department.
• Responsible for maintaining DOT files, safety logs and training files.
• Schedule and provide training as needed.
• Assist with safety training for new hires.
• Maintain and update all SDS books and chemical lists.
• Assist in incident investigations, as well as inspections.
• Provide leadership and direction regarding safety policies and procedures.
• All other relevant duties to the job.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technically proficient with technology and usage of computers and software.
• Some college or technical training preferred.
