Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Provide safety training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures
• Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to workplace safety
• Oversee the maintenance of safety equipment and ensure proper functioning
• *Skills**:
• Training Development: Ability to design, develop, and deliver effective safety training programs for employees at all levels
• Fabricate: Knowledge of fabrication techniques and ability to create custom safety solutions as needed
