What will you do?
- Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers
- Manage H&S initiatives and projects
- Develop project plans, budget, and timelines as relates to the H&S initiatives / projects
- Identify, develop, assess, and report on internal project development milestones, business impact
- Engage impacted stakeholders and manage the communication strategy/approach to ensure stakeholder
- Partner with Regional Business Leaders to focus on building H&S culture to drive improvement through strategic initiatives
- Accountable for achieving Health and Safety objectives this role is responsible for
- Ensure all initiatives meet or exceed legislative and/or industry requirements

What do you bring?
- A growth mindset: above all else, we’re looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance
- Minimum 5 years Health & Safety experience with demonstrated results delivery of health and safety initiatives
- Management System experience and/or Certification with ISO 45001/9001/14001 is preferred
- WSIB Excellence experience with WSIB Excellence program
- Certification in Project Management for the Health and Safety Professional an asset
- Experience in policy/procedure/business process development and quality improvement would be preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation and training skills to all levels
- Strong ability to develop new and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills including ability to influence and negotiate to desired outcomes.
- Flexibility and adaptability; high capacity to effectively prioritize and manage multiple conflicting priorities and to work under pressure in a high-paced, results-focused evolving organization
