The Role

• Oversee the health and safety program including inspections, incident investigations, employee inductions, and training.
• Identify and implement enhancements to the health and safety culture through effective coaching and mentoring of operational leaders and team members.
• Prepare and report monthly safety statistics and key metrics, sharing successes and areas for action with local and corporate leadership teams.
• Manage projects to ensure they are executed according to plan, within budget and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

The Candidate

• 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably under OSHA general industry standards (open to various industries).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Must be based near the resort location and available to be on-site daily.
