Safety Coordinator II Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong safety knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. As a Safety Coordinator II, you will be responsible for enforcing and regulating all safety procedures to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.

• Tour and inspect job sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document safety inspections, cite dangerous areas/procedures, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, including accident reports and inspection reports.
• Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with management and employees to resolve safety-related issues and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 4+ years of experience working as a Safety professional in a construction environment, including training experience. A Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health or Environmental Applied Sciences is required, and certifications such as CHST or ASP are preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential for this role.
