Job Summary of Safety Coordinator

This role is responsible for supporting supply chain operations within a distribution and trucking environment. The position involves coordinating administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the movement and tracking of goods to ensure efficient and reliable logistics processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Safety Coordinator:

Maintain accurate records and reports related to supply chain and trucking operations.
Support the dispatching process, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Assist in tracking shipments, resolving discrepancies, and communicating with internal teams.
Collaborate with cross - functional teams to optimize workflow and ensure operational efficiency.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity in all work activities.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance logistics operations.

Qualifications and Experience of Safety Coordinator:

Previous experience in administrative, clerical, or supply chain roles is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast - paced environment.

Salary

Hourly wage range of $23.20 to $26.70 per hour.
Premiums may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
